Announcement: April 2015 Issue Published

April is here and so is our latest magazine issue. This stunning collection of art includes 40 artists who will certainly captivate your senses. We feature artists who create with ceramics, custom jewelry, digital art, mixed media, photography, wire sculpture, painting, glass and more. The inspiration varies from page to page as does the sentiments they offer. We hope you enjoy the collection.

We encourage our readers to share our free online edition via their networks and social media. And, of course, we'd be remiss if we didn't boast about the printed edition which is nothing short of a work of art itself. A perfect addition to a coffee table, waiting room or a night stand so you can fall asleep with your neurons firing off creativity.

International Women's Day 2015

Today is International Women's Day 2015. There are celebrations across the globe for a day that should, in essence, be recognized daily. Although many countries have come a long way, there are still many, many women and girls being oppressed, enslaved, underpaid, overworked, harassed, etc.

Basic human rights such as access to clean water, education, freedom are far from possible for some women. No matter where you are in the world today, let's remember our sisters who need our support, compassion and encouragement.

At Women in Art 278 Magazine, we recognize women's fundamental role in contemporary art and work to showcase (on an international platform) their artistic expression. Thank you for supporting our magazine and for supporting female artists!
